My Dreams & Passions
As a young girl I was fascinated with birth. Growing older that passion never really left me. I still am always intrigued listening to someone's "birth story". Fast-forward to 2019 I married the love of my life and we were excited to start our own family. Well God had other plans. . . . 5.5 years later I had endomitriosis surgery after many unanswered questions as to why we are struggling with infertility. God reignited my passion and directed me to one of my dreams of becoming a doula! It has been made so clear to me that this is right where God wants me to be at this moment in my life! I want to serve women around me while also trusting in Him that one day we too will be holding our own little miracle!

Hi! I’m Kendra owner of Avad Doula Services. The Hebrew word עבד (ʿavad, pronounced uh-VAHD) is a Biblical Hebrew verb meaning “to work, do, serve.” I am currently a student of EDC (The Elite Doula & Co). I will be serving the women of Coshoction Ohio and the surrounding areas as a birth doula & childbirth educator. A few Fun facts about me: Born in 1996. Grew up in a Christian household with 2 sisters and 1 brother. I am the second child. Worked as a CNA for 2 years. Got Married in 2019. I love thrifting. I don’t like flying. Summer is my favorite season. I am a cat lover. Faith, Family & Friends are very important to me.
